I have kitted out 3 vehicles since around 2009 the first being 100 series Sahara which we then took around Australia towing our Kimberly Kamper trailer. Our kit outs are usually quite consistent with usual things. Suspension lift kits, bull bars, light bars, winches, battery management kit for fridges, aux batts, fridge slides, bash plates, roof racks snorkels UHF rads etc. 2nd Car was 2015 SR5 Hilux, and recently 200 series Sahara. Recently sold the 100 series with all accessories included, bloke could not believe the value in the works we had done by MTB 4X4 nearly fell of his chair. Said we saved him roughly $20k!! Lucky for him…
What I have to say about MTB 4X4 is the guys there know their stuff, and they do immaculate fitouts. Over these 3 cars and around $60k spend, tech has improved as time progresses and MTB 4X4 guys are up to speed on all the new stuff. Follow up services are fantastic, and often minor glitches are resolved on the phone. Any warranty items over 3 cars have been immediately resolved.
We give our vehicles a hard time with proper 4 wheel driving on our property in North East Vic, where we regularly bog, climb, test and recover our vehicles using winches and gear as well as pull bobcat trailer, and camping and snow trips. BBQ’s by the river would not be the same without aux batteries running our fridges and gear in the drawer kits. I would not buy a standard vehicle without giving it fitout as described, and MTB 4X4 are competitive and I will likely use them many times in future. I would highly recommend MTB 4X4 to anyone considering improvements with latest tough gear and accessories for your off road vehicle. Some pics attached of all three.
